I. Position Summary
: Collections is responsible for following-up on all unpaid claims and to liaise with insurance companies to expedite prompt payment.
II. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
: Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve discrepancies and short payments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts – customer calls, account adjustments and reconciliations. Must communicate & follow up effectively regarding status of customer accounts on a timely basis. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with insurance companies. Other duties and tasks as may be assigned.
Quantitative 1,000 files assigned; Files closed 18 per week or 75 per month.
: High School Diploma together with at least two years billing experience.
- Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.
- Current on laws pertaining to claim payments and prompt pay guidelines.
- Experience with large volume collections
- Medisoft and ZirMed experience preferred.
- Superior attention to detail.

- Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Proficiency in Echocardiography, Peripheral and Abdominal Vascular Sonography
Wimbledon Health Partners, the industry leader in on-site diagnostic testing for physicians and athletic programs, is currently seeking full-time sonographers nationwide with the ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms, carotid and peripheral arterial and venous ultrasound, as well as abdominal and renal ultrasound studies.
Electrocardiography skills are a plus. RDCS and proficiency in Echocardiography, Peripheral and Abdominal Vascular Sonography are strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and hemodynamics, a willingness to travel throughout the United States, and a desire to expand their knowledge and expertise. Candidates at a minimum shall possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel.
